Whole30 Recipe Converter

Whole30 is stricter than paleo · no sugar of any kind (not even honey or maple), no grains, no dairy, no legumes, no alcohol, and no baked-good re-creations, even with compliant ingredients. RecipeFix reads any recipe, flags what's off-plan, and rewrites it into a Whole30-compliant version. Every ingredient is checked against the Whole30 rules, so you don't have to memorize the fine print.

How It Works

Paste any recipe link, text, or photo. RecipeFix scans the ingredient list for sugar (including honey, maple, agave, monk fruit), grains (wheat, corn, rice, oats, quinoa), dairy, legumes (soy, peanuts, beans, chickpeas), sulfites, carrageenan, and MSG, then rewrites the recipe with Whole30-compliant swaps and technique adjustments. The result is a full recipe you can cook straight through, not a list of things to fix.

The Rules RecipeFix Enforces

No sugar of any kind · including honey, maple, coconut sugar, and 'natural' sweeteners. No dairy (ghee is technically allowed). No legumes (including green beans and snap peas, which are actually allowed). No grains, including corn and rice. No alcohol, even for cooking. No sulfites, no carrageenan, no MSG. And no baked goods, pancakes, or 'food-with-no-brakes' re-creations, even with compliant ingredients. RecipeFix flags every rule violation and offers a compliant path.

Cook Mode for Whole30 Meal Prep

Most Whole30 success is meal prep. Cook Mode makes a batch of compliant chicken thighs, roasted vegetables, or a compliant chili easy to follow with per-step timers and quantities that scale to whatever size batch you're making.

Frequently asked questions

Is honey allowed on Whole30?

No. Whole30 excludes all added sweeteners · including honey, maple syrup, agave, coconut sugar, stevia, monk fruit, and dates when used to sweeten. RecipeFix flags any sweetener and either removes it or suggests a compliant flavor alternative (like roasted fruit for natural sweetness).

Can I use coconut aminos on Whole30?

Yes. Coconut aminos are Whole30-compliant and are the standard soy-sauce replacement. RecipeFix uses them 1:1 and adjusts the salt slightly since coconut aminos are less salty.

Are peanuts allowed on Whole30?

No. Peanuts are legumes, so peanut butter, peanut oil, and peanut sauces are all excluded. Almond butter, sunflower seed butter, and tahini are Whole30-compliant alternatives.

Can I re-create baked goods with compliant ingredients?

Officially no · the Whole30 rule is no pancakes, muffins, bread, or dessert-like foods even with almond flour and dates. RecipeFix flags these and suggests a compliant meal instead (e.g. sweet potato hash instead of pancakes).

What about butter and ghee?

Butter is out. Ghee is in · the milk solids are removed. RecipeFix swaps butter for ghee 1:1 in savory recipes and uses avocado or coconut oil for higher-heat cooking.
